1. Acceptance
By creating an account or making a booking on MadNomads (the "Platform") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. The platform's role
MadNomads is a marketplace. We facilitate transactions between travellers and independent providers but we are not the operator of the listed stay or experience. The contract for accommodation, transportation, or activities is between you and the provider.
3. Account
- You must be 18+ to create an account.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password and OTPs private.
- One person per account; do not impersonate others.
4. Bookings & payments
- Prices are shown in INR and are inclusive of platform fees unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card / UPI details never touch our servers.
- The price you pay is recomputed server-side at the moment of booking from the listing's base price, weekend multiplier, and per-date overrides — the booking summary is authoritative.
- Booking confirmations are issued upon successful payment capture.
5. Cancellation & refunds
Each listing carries a cancellation policy snapshotted to your booking at the time of payment. See our refund policy for details.
6. Provider obligations
- Providers must complete KYC before publishing listings.
- Information on a listing — facilities, photos, pricing — must be accurate.
- Providers must honour confirmed bookings.
- We charge a configurable commission per booking (default 12%); commission is deducted from the provider payout.
7. Prohibited use
- No fraudulent, duplicate, or misleading listings.
- No discrimination on the basis of race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- No scraping, automated booking, or attempts to circumvent the platform.
- No off-platform transactions for bookings initiated on MadNomads.
8. Liability
MadNomads is not liable for damages arising from the actions of providers or other travellers, beyond the platform fee retained from a transaction. Activities listed on the platform may involve physical risk; you participate at your own risk.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time via support.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at our registered office (to be confirmed at launch).
